Peskov: Forecasts on coronavirus pandemic in Russia approximate

MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) -- Any forecasts on the development of the coronavirus pandemic in Russia are only approximate, the results will depend on the efficiency of measures, taken by the governments, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

“Now any forecasts may be only approximate. There are various forecasts, but I do not think I can mention them now. Generally, everything depends on the efficiency of the measures that are taken, the isolation regime, self-isolation,” he said.

The epidemiological situation can change “very fast” so the government analyses the latest situation on an everyday basis.

“We are constantly preparing for various long-term scenarios,” he added.
